Dear All I won't be able to make the breakfast at the Waldorf this morning after all, sorry. I have a music student staying with me who is a competitor in the Australian International Chopin Piano Competition. It turns out the he has been assigned through luck of the drawer a rehearsal room at the ANU school of Music at 8am and then his performance at 10am. As I am his chauffeur and hostess I feel that I should serve his needs before my own today. He is from Poland, is still a bit jet-lagged and to make matters worse he and half of the competitors have a cold. You may find out more about him in today's The Canberra Times. I look forward to meeting you all at the next event. Kind regards, Karen PS I have been looking at the four disc TV series entitled The Bible. I am wondering if others of you have viewed it and what are your thoughts on it. Thanks!

Hi Karen. Someone from our church is hosting one of the piano players as well. I did like the Bible TV series except some of the old testament is very violent, particularly the one with Samson in it. The best OT parts I thought were Daniel in the lions Den, and Meshach, Shadrach and Abednigo in the fire. The crucification very powerful too.
