This group is designed for women who are looking to make new friends with two common factors: they have children, and they also have a full time career.

Working mothers also need to have friends too!

I've found that as I am the only full time working mother that I know, I am no longer within the circle of activities of the SAHM friends that I used to have, due to scheduling.

This group is not designed for middle of the weekday playdates. It's designed for career mothers to meet up with other career mothers, find common ground, and relate. With or without kids! And with or without the hubbies! lol.

I'm looking for ideas really. I have challenges with time constraints as do all working mothers, but I am able to find the odd pockets of time for friends on evenings and weekends, and need to find some new friends that have the same.

Please let me know if you are interested in suggesting meetups or hosting one.

As well, we're trying to establish a standard for activity. Unlike some meetup groups, I will not put a minimum attendance requirement, however as a group, we do expect you to log in occasionally (at least once a month) to see what's going on and offer contributions.

Right at this moment I am not charging, however I will need to charge starting next week $2.00 for all members. This will be a yearly fee as I must cover the cost of running the "site" on meetup. (my hubby doesn't want me paying out of pocket for this, so I have to transfer that onto my fellow working mothers).

This group has a lot of potential! Let's get out there and meetup!
