While other companies are downsizing, Meetup is growing!

If you are seeking a job in New York City and if your experience and skill set is a match for our open positions, come join us for our recruiting event to hear what it's like to work at the company behind the website you know and love. You'll have an opportunity to learn about Meetup's mission, meet some team members, see the office and hear about the cool things that we're working on.

Please check our job postings at http://www.meetup.com... or click the "We're Hiring" link at the bottom left of any Meetup page. If you are qualified for one of our openings, please apply for the job right away -- don't wait for the next Working@Meetup!

*NOTE: This event is intended for prospective Meetup applicants only. No recruiters/headhunters, please! Also, if you have already attended a Working@Meetup in the past, there is no need to attend again. It's always the same agenda; new people.

We're looking for superstar UI Engineers, Software Engineers, Product Managers, Systems Operations Lead, Community Support Associates, a Meetup Community Evangelist (aka PR Renegade), Data Analyst, Usability Manager, and more!

Be sure to send your resumes to [masked] prior to the event you are attending (please put "W@M" in the subject line) and don't forget to tell your friends that Meetup is hiring!

Love the concept of the monthly meetup for purposes of hiring for meetup. Thanks for sharing your candid views to our collective questions.
    •  I found it to be informative. Erin and Linda represent the company very well and gave me a sense of what separates Meetup from other companies as well as how passionate the employees are.
    •  The event was educational and it was great to learn about Meetup and see the space. The moderator Erin was very well spoken and gave participant's questions a lot of thought - you can tell she loves Meetup and takes pride in her work. Some areas of improvement: managing the RSVP process, there seemed to be a couple of unexpected guests.
    •  Erin & Linda presented a unique overview of the non-bureaucratic culture at Meetup.com, as well it's hiring and operating practices, and future goals. I found the presentation to be quite insightful, inspirational, and well organized. It was also interesting to learn about the various experiences & background of the other attendees, as well as to hear their insight on various topics. It was a rare opportunity to learn about a company from the inside out and have a chance to interact directly with staff capable of hiring you. Unlike many traditional company's, Meetup.com truly has a unique perspective on how to motivate and reward it's employees - which is very refreshing.
    •  The idea of having a meetup at Meetup is genious. It was exciting just to see the great workspace, but hearing about the company from Erin and Linda made the trip to the SoHo headquarters even more worthwhile. There was an interesting mix of people, all with very interesting backgrounds.
