Calling tea lovers & vegetarians!

To cater to the vegetarians in the midst, I'm putting together a quiet brunch at a wonderful tea house called Franchia. Here's a little something about them: Franchia serves a wide selection of premium loose leaf teas and other herbal and fruit 'tea' beverages. All teas are carefully selected from plantations where the terrain and temperature conditions are the most optimal for producing the highest quality teas. Our teas are elegantly presented in specially crafted white ceramic tea cups and pots so that the color, taste and aroma of the teas can be fully appreciated. Meals at Franchia are a truly unique dining experience. Franchia's kitchen is strongly committed to creating dishes that are not only tasty but healthy and nutritious. All the dishes are strictly vegetarian, reflecting our belief that vegetarianism is the healthiest way of eating. The style of cooking is a fusion blend of Korean and Asian influences and Western cuisine. Most of the dishes are light and are unique creations intended to complement the tea menu. The dessert menu is especially appealing, offering a unique selection of Korean pastries and cookies. We will be partaking in Franchia's $25 (tax and tip is additional) prix-fixe menu, which will include - choice of soup or salad of the day - two appetizers - choice of entree - choice of desert - choice of tea (not including their premium Korean tea) This is an elegant brunch, where the portions are not heaping, but will be satisfying. As always, I will be enforcing a strict attendence policy: If you RSVP, please attend. Refer to our policy statement on our About page for more info. For more information, see

The intimate atmosphere was wonderful, the
company could not have been better, and the meal was definitely something I would go back for -- very filling and beautifully presented. The restaurant also graciously agreed to bill us all separately, which made settling the bill very pleasant and efficient.

I like the smaller, more intimate meet-ups.
