Similar to our first meetup held last week, I think we'll just get to know one another and see where people's interest-level/experiences are in long-term travel, living abroad and nomading. This is an introductory meetup for those who didn't get to come to the first one. (Please note that this is not a general travel group.)
Since Vincente's is an untested venue for us, I don't expect a lot of detailed content to come about. (Meaning that I'd like to make sure we'll be able to really hear one another well this time -- and that this joint has the right "vibe".) Or, maybe it will! If nothing else, it should serve as a gauge for where participants' interest lie for the next gathering (and, of course, some social fun too). If it's anything like last week's meetup, topics may be in the area of: recommended global live/work locations, nomadic professions, and basic preparations.
If you attended last week's meetup, please hold off on RSVPing to give others the opportunity. The next meeting will be arranged for early September. (That is, if this venue works out well. Fingers crossed.) Then we'll most likely discuss a topic in detail.
Vincente's serves a nice assortments of craft beers and affordable wines. The food's pretty affordable too in case you miss dinner to make the meetup. We'll be in the parlor room.
