It's time for another meet-up...
Last year, I traveled to Asia for the first time, not knowing what to expect and most importantly not knowing, how much courage I would have to do things by myself. With a little help from my friends in China, after a few days in Shanghai, I was brave enough to board the train to Beijing and later Xi'an on my own.
Three weeks later, I travelled to South Korea for two weeks. Having immigrated from Germany more than 15 years ago – in part because there were just too many people in such a small country - how would I feel about a 10 million people city like Seoul? Let me tell you that much: I really love the city! What vibrancy, what a blend of old and new, arts and culture, and environmental projects! And what made it all the more special for me is the friendship with one Korean family. I also spent a few days in Busan, located at the other end of South Korea, 450 km south of Seoul. My favorite places in Busan include the fish market and the area of the Buddhist temple Beomeosa.
This time, I'd like to share some photos and stories about my South Korea trip with you. Hope you'll enjoy!
I will be at the door between 6:45 and 7:00 and we will be getting going at 7:00 Hope to see you there.
