Sounds of Sudans - cultural Sudanese event
Day of music, poetry, art and film from Sudan
Cinema, music, poetry, fashion Show, food stalls, sit al-shay (a traditional tea stall) .. and much more. Sounds of Sudans is a day and evening of events celebrating the diverse cultures and lifestyles of and within Sudan and South Sudan.
Almost two year after the independence of South Sudan from its northern neighbour activists from various generations of the two countries are working together to appreciate differences and identify common interests by way of energising and provoking thoughts about reconciliation and peace.
The event which is organised by St Ethelburgha's Centre in collaboration withThe Youth Factor and Open Themes Group

In bedouin tent: Sudanese coffee and tea will be served.
Also exhibition of an artist's work around the centre and drawings from children from Darfur
Food from North and South Sudan from 6.00pm
Evening performance of music and poetry from 8.00pm
