David Liss will be on hand for a reading & signing from the new zombie anthology, The New Dead, edited by Christopher Golden. The 19 provocative, haunting, and genuinely unsettling original stories in this zombie anthology move the genre beyond its usual apocalyptic wastelands. David Liss's novelette What Maisie Knew is a stunning and gruesome meditation on evil.
David Liss and other great writers have written stories for this new collection. Feel free to release your “inner zombie” at this signing… come dressed in your favorite zombie costume, if you so desire.

Patrick ChurchA very nice refresher angle on the Night of the Living Dead Genre. David Liss is an author who is not really a Living Dead fan. But he just wants to gives it a try and get his feet wet. I didn't have enough money for the book, but I liked the reading he made before the signing. I went because I'm a big fan of the genre and I just want to hear his side and what his expereience was like when he wrote his latest book. -
