Sci-Fi & Fantasy Card Game Night!

With a brand new location and three new meetups for these!

This meetup is to bring card games, and play them, as the last one was setup. This is for playing things like Munchkin, Apples to Apples, Lunch Money, Cards Against Humanity, and every other kind of game like this you can think of!

If you aren't sure, bring your game and we'll decide once you're there! Generally expect to switch groups of people you're playing with every half hour or so, so we can get to mix a lot even though several of these games have smaller player numbers to them.

Directions to follow from Heather hopefully!

As a new addendum -- We do need people to bring plates/cups/utensils/napkins, and I will totally wave you needing to bring a dish if you jump up to bring this kind of thing. Everything is useful and necessary to keep a great night running!

Doors are open. Remember its the community room at the universal city library. Big blue doors ( now with a home made sign). There is parking at the library and in the back!

By the way Amanda, can I get your cell phone number so that when we get out to where we're going to tonight if we need to contact you in case we get lost or we're trying to look for an area, we can text you?

Dragon's Lair, at Fredericksburg and Medical, has open gaming tables and rooms that can be reserved. But I'm not sure they'd allow the potluck.

Hi! I'm interested in going to the card game meetup but i have an 8 year old son. If he can't play whatever we're playing he could bring his own entertainment such as a book or his DS. Please let me know if this is ok so I can decide to RSVP. Thanks!

Of course he come! We'll have all sorts of things and we can see once he's there whether he can play or entertain himself. We haven't had kids before really to the trivia/card nights, but there's nothing that says they can't come. So feel free!

I'm not going to be able to make it after all. I had to put down my furry companion of 13 years (he was 15yo). Luckily a friend came into town for moral support, but that means I'm out for tomorrow night. I'm going to try to send my bag of games w/ a friend. Y'all have fun!

My sympathies, Lorraine. I know how hard this is. I'm glad you have moral support. We'll miss you!

Oh, honey! I'm so sorry. I hope that you do get the support and take as much time as you need with your heart/

Good timing! I won't get to watch Dr. Who anyhow, so I can come after all.
Phayth, it won't bother me if your son comes. I always welcome good kids.

Mei, I'm hoping to record the Doctor.

Thanks, Barbara. Maybe I'll borrow it. Then again, it looked like a sort of scary one, so maybe I don't mind missing!

Uno?! I am so looking forward to going to this thing this Saturday! I will be there! Thinking of making a pasta salad, and maybe a chicken salad and bringing crackers.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
