As many of you know, last July I became the organizer of the group. I agreed to take over when asked and I was told that the group would come to an end if I did not takeover. That was my only reason for becoming organizer.
I don't wish to remain organizer past July 1 of this year. So I think we should start a discussion about how to pick a replacement.
One other thing we should discuss is funding. We have to pay the meetup group $72 every six months.
So please post any ideas you have on these two issues.
I will stay in the group because I have always had fun at the events. But I will be emailing the meetup organization of my decision to step down as organizer.
I have set up a message board discussion for this purpose at
