Wounded Warriors as Healers: Introduction to EFT

This location is shown only to members

The meetup will provide a space for women veterans in the Baltimore-DC-Annapolis area to meet and get to know each other as they learn the basics of EFT.

Linda Grant DePauw, Ph.D. is a Life Coach and EFT Practitioner and Founder and President of the Minerva Center for the Study of Women and War. She will describe the history of energy healing, explain the EFT technique, answer questions, and demonstrate how to use tapping for self-healing and to help others.

EFT stands for "Emotional Freedom Techniques." It is a form of energy healing using acupressure points on the head, hand, and upper body to relieve physical and emotional pain.
The technique often works very rapidly—in a matter of minutes--and is easy to learn. Once you know where the energy points are located, you tap them with your fingertips while you are “tuned in” to whatever discomfort is bothering you.

EFT has been used successfully on a wide variety of issues including PTSD, MST, grief, anger management, addictions, weight control, chronic aches and pains, phobias, and so much more that those who learn EFT are encouraged to “try it on everything.”
