To begin with, a big thank you to Chandra for the session on philosophy. Funnily enough, this is the first session we had on the topic, and as expected, we spent a lot more time talking about the pieces than we did writing them. This meant that we ran out of reading time and we had to rush through the final few pieces. We try and not let this happen, but it still does every now and then for various reasons. Those of you who suffered because of that, we're sorry.
I've received a couple of requests to upload Bala's 'romantic' session from the week before. You can download it here. For those of you who don't know, we're in the process of archiving all of our Write Club material from times immemorial, so all past hosts (and future ones), please make sure you send me your presentations and documents and notes so that I can upload them to the website.
The host for this week is going to be me. Oh, stop groaning, I've not hosted this thing in over twenty-four weeks. (Yes, I've been counting!) After the heavy and heady stuff of the last two weeks, I think it will be nice getting back to the simple stuff this weekend.
To all the first-timers, we don't have a red carpet but if we did, we'd have laid it out at Salmon Leap for you. Come over, knock on the door, walk in, sit down, and write with us. We promise it will be fun. Directions to the place are given at the top of the page. If you still get lost, call[masked] and ask for Sharath.
