Writers & Aspiring Writers: Get That Story Out of Your Head and on Paper!

Writers & Aspiring Writers: Get That Story Out of Your Head and on Paper!

Special for November: Save 50%! Now only $15.

Please join us for the next "Write Here, Write Now" workshop on Saturday 11/9/13 from 2-4PM.

Does Your Story Educate or Entertain?

Whether you're writing fiction or non-fiction, you've thought about how your life's lessons could help someone else, right? We all have a great story, but it takes a level of commitment to dedicate the time and persistence to get it down on paper

Tell Me What You Want to Accomplish

At the next workshop you will learn how to use simple tools and tips from the pros to take your project to the next level. You will also meet our growing writing community and receive writing prompts (customized for your current project) to keep your project moving forward.

All writers are welcome (beginner to pro, ages 18-95). The workshops are open to the public and are (usually) $30 per person, but at the November workshop you will save 50%! (It's $15 for the two-hour session.)Bring a friend! We meet second Saturdays in the private room at the Great Northern Panera. Take a minute to put these important dates in your calendar now for upcoming workshops!

2013 Workshop Schedule:
11/9/13; 12/14/13

Individual coaching sessions are also available and scheduled on a per person basis. This is perfect for the writer that wants to make progress quickly (or if Saturdays don't fit into your schedule).

    Thanks T.L!

Frost Nixon was excellent, though I haven't seen the other two yet.

Laura, I want to pass on a small list of movies that you might be interested in, considering the nature of the book you are writing: The Ides of March, Frost/Nixon and The Adjustment Bureau. They are all political movies with lots of intrigue. You might find them as a source of inspiration for your book. George Clooney always inspires me (The Ides of March)!

Hope to see you again next month. This week I'll be announcing my book release right in time for my birthday. Fun stuff! -T.L.

Today's topic really seemed to resonate with the writers. I opened it up to encourage questions
from the group - to help them problem solve.
