Read, Workshop + Chat!

If this will be your first visit, please bring with you any written work completed or in progress which you would like to share, although idea for next work aslo welcomed.  Please bring something to write with and something to write on, as we like to do some writing at our meet. The abby has internet access, so please feel free to bring your laptop if you would like.

Access to  the Fremont abby is on N 43rd street at the side door. If the door is locked, which might happen after 7pm, please ring the door bell to be let in as we would hate for you to get stuck outside.

Parking: There is usually parking around the area. You may have to cross Fremont Ave, and do some digging (not usually) - but it is around

This was really a great time. I almost didn't come because I was so nervous to share, but it was such a low pressure, supportive environment I really happy I made it out. I'll be there and ready with work to share next month. In the meantime, Id love to connect and share with smaller groups! Shoot me emails but I'll check back here to see if I can make anything! Might make it, depends on job outlook and how late I'm up writing tonight. But will definitely try to be there. Thanks.

Would love to Meetup more as well. I'll ask for time I'm available but keep me in the loop too. Good times :-)

I enjoyed the meeting tonight and getting know everyone. I think meeting up for coffee or whatever during the month is a great idea. I can usually be found three or four days a week during the daytime at the Starbucks in Ballard doing a crossword or some writing. If you'd like to meet sometime or some other place let me know. Contact me directly at the e mail below. Od give me a call or text. Hope to be seeing everyone soon.

Really hope my work schedule doesn't conflict. It's been a while since I've hung out writerly types!

I'm sorry about that. Unfortunately, Wednesday works for the rest of us.

I can always use more motivation. The chat of other writers fuels my fiction engine and on lucky occasions even amounts to a tune-up. Living alone gives me ample solitude to work in, but it's too easy to lapse into creative torpor.

A big thank you to everyone that made it to the write on writers meet up yesterday. It was fantastic to meet you all. We wanted to let you know that we have taken all your wants into account and will be implementing them into the coming meet ups. Prior to our next meet up, a full organised schedule will be sent out to you in a few weeks , along with the write on writers meet up etiquette. We always want to know what you think. So let us know and we will consider changes. You will also be receiving short weekly writing exercises and one writing assignment for the month which we hope you will really get into. If you have any questions please don't feel weird about pinging Sarah or me. Any extra ideas that have been left out let us know. We hope we get to see you on the 24th of April. Until our next meet, write on writers write on....

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
