2 hours writing in Camden Town

Two hours writing at the comfortable and cosy Yumchaa in Camden Town, in the evening.

At the Camden Town sessions, we usually spend about two hours writing at Yumchaa (it closes at 8pm), and afterwards head to the upstairs pub at The Black Cat for a drink and a chat.

Yumchaa is a popular venue – especially with laptop users – so finding table space can be tough. However, I've reserved tables and seating for 7 people each week. You are welcome to attend if 8 or more people sign up, but you may not be able to sit with others.

UPDATE: As I won't be able to attend this meetup (see comments), Ruth has agreed to host this session. Hope to see you at next week's, which I am planning on attending. (Really.)

Hi, I'm going to the group this evening, but not sure about the pub. However, am happy to direct others to the Black Cat at 8pm

    Hello!
As I explained to Richard, I am happy to start the event and get things going. However, I may not be able to stay for the whole 2 hours and will definitely not be going on to the pub. We can chat this evening but if anyone else wants to coordinate the afters, that would be great.
    Thanks

Due to getting the 4th April and 14th April confused, I've got a clash in my diary, which means I won't be able to host this Meetup.

If you're willing to host this event, please let me know. You would need to check in with Yumchaa's staff, greet members arriving, and direct them to the seats. Going to the after-writing drinks are optional.

If no-one is able to host, I'll have to cancel this event. However, they will be continuing the following week.

    Thanks.

I would be okay with hosting, though I have never been to the Camden wt meetup (been to others), so if someone more familiar with the area (mainly the way to the Black cat) would like to host, that would be better.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
