Weds meetup: 2-hours writing + pub visit, Piccadilly

  • June 26, 2013 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Our regular weekly Weds write-in, hosted by Ben. We usually base ourselves on the long table, spreading out onto other tables as required.

To maximise productivity, we keep the writing and socialising parts separate: 6-8pm is for silent writing in the coffee shop, then at 8pm we head round the corner to a nearby pub to set the world to rights.

If you arrive before 6pm, just randomly accost people with laptops on the long table until one of them admits to being a writer. If you arrive after 6pm, please just grab a seat somewhere and start writing - you can introduce yourself when the silent writing part ends.

This write-in is always over-subscribed. If you have a place and can no longer make-it, please change your RSVP to a No to free up a place for someone else. Please do this in a timely fashion, as it will generally be too late for anyone to take advantage of a slot if they are only notified at 5pm on the day. If you're close to the top of the waiting-list, we generally get two or three cancellations on the day, so it's likely you'll get a slot. Again, if you can no longer make it, please update your RSVP as soon as you know.

I'm now on a waiting list of 2, down from 12! What do you think? Worth making the journey just in case there's space?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
