Primrose Writers

Starting early on the Saturday.

Nice place in Chalk Farm, The Coffee Lounge. This group welcomes all writers, the objective is to work for two hours with an optional feedback afterwards.

The idea is to get productive with your craft in amongst likemindedness. Nothing too serious here, all writers welcome.

We go to the Pembrooke Castle pub for feedback and chat afterwards, if you choose to come.

Enjoyed it very much, and a good time to get some writing done at the start of the day.

Thanks for letting us into the group. It was a great time for both of us to write.

Great experience! It has got my brain working overtime about my currently flimsy material. It's a privilege to sit with more experienced writers. Hope to feel confident enough to share some day.

    Hi there,
Dave mentioned he'd set up a google docs account whatever for us? How does this work. Can somebody enlighten me? I would like to post something for readin at the next meetup.

We hadn't really discussed the specifics, but I guess the easiest way is if I set you as a 'manager', then you send an invitation to everyone who offers to critique. Then post the piece on a new thread, and any critiques and discussion can be posted on that thread. If you need me to add you to the group, could you email me through my Meetup page with your email?

Wanted to bring my girlfriend's child of 8 year old. He just wrote a book on mind craft...a new fantasy game kids are playing. Would this group welcome him in? I too will write during the session.
