What are you writing? e.g. novel, short story, poem, play, screenplay

A novel.

Micro fiction: why did Karen hit the red Volkswagen?

'Walk away, walk away'. She couldn't look back at the pathetic hunk of metal at the side of the road. 'Don't turn around, just keep going'. The problem with telling yourself something, is that you never generally obey. She stopped abruptly, a small turn. Like knights poised for the joust they faced each other, distant, cold, suppressed fury. But only one of them would be able to make the run. "Arrrggggghhhhhh" she charged towards the car, slamming her fists into the bonnet. "Get out of this damn car and help me."

Hello everyone. I'm Jo and I must get this story out of me if it's the last thing I do. This has been in my thoughts for a while, and so here I am!
