I started making up stories for my toys to act out before I could read. I have taught English and reading, as well as run libraries. It would seem that words stick to my fingers. I've been seriously writing since 1992 and have sold one article so far. I have co-authored and self-published a novel and a lot of short stories and poetry, some in other folk's self-published 'zines. Over the years, for some reason, I've always ended up writing and editing several organizations' newsletters, too.
Science fiction, romance, gay fiction, short stories, poetry, articles.
I'm editing a novella which bids fair to becoming a novel-length work before I get finished with it. Another short story is, I hope, in it's final edit.
The novel I co-authored, Thieves in Time, had a respectable sales at small science fiction conventions in the nineties. I recently edited the whole thing, as well as the short stories and poetry set in the same universe, and uploaded at http://www.fanfiction.net/~orionlyonesse. The article I sold, Trains of Thought, was published in an Indiana magazine.
I've been looking for a writing group local to Everett for a long time! I write futuristic fiction, articles, and poetry. Current work in progress is The Farseeker Chronicles, a western/SF universe.
A fun group of diverse writers on different levels and of different genres. I always get good ideas and have a great time.
