I am a writer and artist. I am a compulsive writer who, despite a pretty extensive learning backround, can greatly improve. I generally write thoughts, feelings, letters and poems. I have written plays and skits which are usually comical and have a moral or lesson. As an English teacher, one valuable contribution to my students was to demonstrate how there is always something about which to write. I taught them to get expressed first, rather than hamper the writing process with concern for the grammatical outcome, or how what they write will be received. I did not say I have mastery over that worry, but at least I know better. I was an Art Instructor, as well, for nearly half of my lengthy Public School teaching career. I have always felt my "need" to be neat and careful with everything conflicted with my art productivity. I thrive on sharing ideas, feelings and interests.
I am open to the possibilities.
I enjoy healthy critiques. I like input and feel more connected when I am part of that sort of exchange / interaction.
I am Rudy Malizia. I have written and done artwork throughout my life; 99% of which has never been shared with another person.
I give Writers 4 All Seasons a rave review! Four times thus far! Dec. 4, 2012 had the largest number of members in attendance that I have personally experienced. GREAT enjoyment. Good input. Helpful and inspiring. Jan. 23, 2012 Every time has been a fun time. I was a careful teacher. I am learning a lot in a fun fashion. People can unite to be heard, seen, respected and encouraged. I have experienced it at Writers 4 All Seasons every time. Sowe, I rekin iyal bee bak! It is September 4, 2013. I have never missed a meeting. MY GAIN!!! June 23, 2105 An environment of intelligent, sharing individuals who understand the challenges and love of writing. I have exposure to genres I would otherwise avoid. I genuinely enjoy seeing and hearing an author read his or her creation(s), and having some behind the scenes scoop on the goods.
