Hi, I will attend on Wed. but I have nothing to turn in. I can just meet with my same critique group. (I have just been writing many, many lesson plans for the last couple of weeks, which I am sure NO ONE wants to read.)
There are a lot of writer and literary groups out there! We are a smaller group that focuses a little more closely on personal and creative growth in our writing. We welcome you to check us out!
Our Motto: "Assist, not assault!"
We meet on the first and third Wednesdays each month at 7pm at Arrowhead Barnes & Noble and operate through cooperative critiquing. Prospective members are requested to attend one meeting, to see firsthand how we operate. If you're still interested, we'll activate your membership. Your membership must be activated to allow you to upload and download files for review!
Rather than read aloud at meetings, we exchange submitted work with a week's time for review, which we then discuss during the meet-up. This gives a bit more depth to our advice and we feel it helps improve the work at many more levels. If you are willing to read the work of other writers, share your comments and suggestions--and have your own writing to share with us, Writer's Round Table might be the place for you. Please feel free to ask questions, or tag along for a meeting! You may like what you see.
Questions may be emailed using the 'Contact' link on the home page, left hand column.
