There are a lot of writer and literary groups out there! We are a smaller group that focuses a little more closely on personal and creative growth in our writing. We welcome you to check us out!
Our Motto: "Assist, not assault!"
We meet on the first and third Wednesdays each month at 7pm at the Wildflower Bread Company, 17530 N. 75th Ave., Glendale, AZ, and operate through cooperative critiquing. As a pending member, you'll be invited to attend an introductory meeting to see firsthand how we operate. If you're still interested after your introductory visit, we'll activate your membership. Your membership must be activated to allow you to upload and download files for review.
We are currently space limited to 20 active members, and extend invitations to pending members as space becomes available.
Rather than read aloud at meetings, we exchange submitted work the week before each meeting to allow adequate time for review. We use the meeting time to discuss comments and feedback, and to suggest ways to improve each story or novel project. This gives a bit more depth to our advice and we feel it helps improve the work on many more levels. If you are willing to read the works of other writers and share your comments and suggestions--and to share your own writing in turn, Writer's Round Table might be the place for you. Please feel free to ask questions, or tag along for a meeting! You may like what you see.
Questions may be emailed using the 'Contact' link on the home page, left hand column.
