I was born and raised in midtown Manhattan which I know is pretty weird, even by NYC standards. When I was a kid we would say it was Hell's Kitchen, now it's practically the UWS. Weird.
A whim. Then I moved back to NYC for grad school and bounced BACK here for love. Outcome pending.
This is a toughie. Well, it is beautiful here and at least a little cheaper and I do feel like I am a nicer person than I was in the city. But I still find myself homesick for almost everything: public transportation, culture, really quality people watching. And just people understanding my neurotic, East Coast self.
This is my dream group! I grew up in Manhattan and have lived in Seattle for 10 years on and off but still find myself complaining about poor pizza and bagel qualities, a dearth of black and white cookies and crappy public transportation.
