Xamarin v.Now, Speaker: Craig Dunn

Review of everything Xamarin from the 2.0 launch earlier this year, up until today...

• Xamarin Studio

• Visual Studio's support for iOS

• Component Store

as well as a quick overview of

• C# 5 async/await

• iOS Designer beta

• Test Cloud beta

We'll start with a quick overview of how Xamarin works and then get into some live demos of all the cool Xamarin stuff that has happened in 2013 so far!

PRESENTER: Craig Dunn

Craig is a technical writer & developer evangelist at Xamarin. He fell in love with the very early betas of MonoTouch, blogged about it, tweeted about it, wrote some apps with it and finally joined Xamarin to work with it. He loves iOS and Android equally.

This was one of the best meetups I have attended in sometime. Craig Dunn did an excellent job highlighting all of the key features for Xamarin. I really appreciated his enthusiasm in answering all of the technical questions that I asked. The presentation on async (C#) and demo example was right on target. Thank you Craig and Ki for a meeting that brought a lot of value to the developer community.
