Regular Thursday Night meetup for the Young Brisbane IT Social.

Open to everyone Young (of mind), in Brisbane (or travelling to), in IT (as a student or professional) who wants to be Social (because networking is too douchy), this meetup night happens once a month, on the first Thursday.

Come along for drinkies, socialization, a talk or two and a bit of fun.

This meetup will feature:

Sargent At Arms - A bit of fun about Developer Sins (Totally optional!)
Special Guest Star YOU
Beer (No skittles, though)

Once again, I'll buy a beer for the person who brings the most new people along (but only if there's one standout winner... I'm not buying 4 people drinks because they each bring one other and everyone else slacks off:P)

Hi everyone!

I'm afraid I have a requirements clash tonight -- My sister's 18th birthday is today and that trumps hanging out with you bunch of champs.

Since this is the last YBITS for the year, I'd like to thank everyone who's come along and helped make YBITS a blast over the past 12 months. I've really enjoyed meeting the new people and having them become old hands.

Next year YBITS will be even bigger and better! We're having another Turing Dinner, there's plans to LAN (nothing like a LAN for sleep deprivation and yelling at each other in person rather then online) and we'll have more talks and hopefully a few special guests.

All the best to everyone for the holiday season, see you next year at YBITS!

PS: Please RSVP if you're planning to attend tonight so that people don't just do "WAA no-one else is going" ;)
