What you need to know...

DUES
Hosting a group on Meetup.com is not free. There is an annual cost associated. To cover the costs we do ask that each member pay $5 in membership fee annually. Fees are paid via Paypal by using the email address: ybwdallas@gmail.com.

Why we collect membership dues?
Other than the obvious cost associated with maintaining a Meetup; with membership dues, all group members share the cost of the group. This tends to make members truly value their group. It also helps weed out individuals who aren't really interested in participating.

NO SHOWS
A No-Show is someone who has RSVP’d YES for an event but does not show up or change their RSVP within 24 hours of the event. This is disrespectful to the organizer of the event, the person who wanted to attend but could not attend the event because it was full and it’s disrespectful to the persons who’ve attended the event, but are waiting on you to arrive. We understand things happen but ask that you please change your RSVP within 24 hours of an event if you cannot make it. After 3 No-Shows, you will be removed from the group.

INACTIVITY
Life is essentially what you make it. The same thing can be said for the group. You get out of it, what you put into it. PARTICIPATION! PARTICIPATION! PARTICIPATION! If you are unable to participate in the events, take the time to visit the site to at least see what we are doing. Inactivity to the groups’ site for a period of 90 days or longer will result in you being removed from the group.
