July - August MeetUp at Color Me Mine

It's a plan. I had a positive response about the last meetup, at ColorMeMine. The next Meetup is going to take place there too. HOPE YOU CAN MAKE IT!!!

Our July/August meetup will be a fun and artistic endeavor in therapeutic recreation. Aimee and I had really enjoyed our outing at Color Me Mine, in Pittsford Plaza, making gifts for loved ones, and we want to share the experience! Fortunately, no talent is necessary! More Details below:
Please feel free to contact me with questions or comments. I'd really appreciate RSVP's, SO I CAN RESERVE THE SPACE, although I'd definitely rather you get the info and show up at the last moment, than to not come because you haven't RSVP'd.

Color Me Mine is a great place where you paint [under-glaze] pottery and ceramics. They supply a number of different color glazes to use, tools, masking, stamps, stencils. There are samples all around the store for ideas and inspiration, and instruction keys you can borrow to explain the steps in the various special techniques, if you wish to try them. Lynn and the ladies there are very nice and kind, and willing to offer as much or as little help as you desire. They even do things FOR you. The pieces of bisque [white fired clay items] vary from large to tiny. Trays and water pitchers, to mugs and bowls, to tiles, interior decor, personal hair accessories, drawer knobs, switch plates, figurines and holiday decorations. They make great gifts for close friends, moms, and the other really special people in your life. Kids who craft are welcome, too. I like to get there early to look at all the options, and choose.
Our group is getting this special rate - 2/1 studio fees, so it will cost you $5 to use all their supplies and tools, plus the cost of whatever item you choose to create. iF WE HAVE 10 PEOPLE IN OUR GROUP THE STUDIO FEE WILL BE WAVED. There is as wide a range of prices as there are items.
Enjoy some creative interacting among your sisters, and have some fun!
