What is YAVO?

YAVO is an organization of young adults (ages 20s & 30s) who participate in a variety of volunteer (and social) events together.

The main goal of YAVO is to make volunteering fun. Limiting membership to young adults creates an energetic environment where members can easily relate and develop friendships. The typical YAVO member can be described as a friendly, young professional with a passion to help others.

YAVO is not devoted to any one single area of volunteering or directly affiliated with any religious or other volunteer organizations. We have both created our own events and partnered with other organizations.

YAVO holds a monthly meeting on the second Sunday of every month. The meeting mainly involves discussing which volunteer (and social) events to do for the upcoming month. We also discuss operational topics (i.e. officers/committees, PR, fundraising, etc.). So please join hands and let us help the world a little :)
