Open-Level Yoga in the 2720 Cherokee Performing Arts Center

Expand your horizons and dive into your body to help tame the mind.  Beginners or more experienced practitioners are welcome. This weekly open yoga class is sponsored by the STL Hoop Club at 2720 Cherokee Street in the 2720 Cherokee Performing Arts Center. Doors open at 6pm, class begins around 6:15pm, class ends promptly at 7:15pm.

These classes will have multiple variations for those who are new to yoga or are more experienced and want some detailed instruction for their poses. Pay what you can: $5 minimum donation, $10 standard donation, $15 generous donation. Please bring a mat, a towel, and if you have one, a strap or neck-tie.  Blocks could be recommended as well.

I would strongly recommend purchasing your own mat, but please make sure it is not an exercise pad.  Those are dangerous for yoga.  A good yoga mat will cost around $20-$30.  You can clean it yourself with a spray bottle filled with a 1:1  mixture of water and apple cider vinegar to get rid of slipperiness (and plastic smell).

I am so excited that the lovely and talented Michelle Schaeffer, Dancer/Performer at Cosmic Collaborative and Founder/Artistic Director at The St. Louis Hoop Club has helped secure this space in the 2720 Cherokee Performing Arts Center for us to practice yoga. Namaste and Welcome!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
