Let's Meetup to do yoga! We'll talk about what we desire for ourselves and what yoga can do to help us. Mind, body and spirit: yoga can heal and strengthen all.
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays in La Habra Heights, and Wednesdays in Friendly Hills of Whittier. We will work through a series of yoga postures and use this time to make adjustments to our alignment, and find a yoga practice that straightens our backs, heals our bodies, clears our minds, and nourishes the soul, in addition to helping us uncover the body we love.
My goal is to bring together a group of people in my area who are interested in healing the body and calming the mind, and find peace with both (and more!).
We're all beginners when it comes to yoga, so please come out and join us for this group, to create a community, share goals, support ourselves and each other. If you and I create a space for exercise and healing, it will benefit ourselves, but also others too who are looking for a community to join.

Leave a comment on the event page, join the group or RSVP for more information, to talk to me about where you are in your goals and what you are looking for, and together we can create a beautiful group (note: private messaging on Meetup doesn't work as it does with facebook, and unless your preferences allow it I can't reply to your message if you aren't a member of the group).
What to expect: On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I will show everyone a basic Sivananda yoga class. Sivananda yoga is perfect for all levels of aspiring yogis, from the very beginner to the very advanced, everyone will find this class challenging but accessible. The traditional class is one hour and a half long, but if you can only come for one hour, please still come. Please see our other Meetups for other classes.
What to bring: Yoga mat and water. We will be practicing yoga, and stretching and strengthening our bodies!
