Every week before class I arrive about an hour early to make time for my own practice. This week I'd like to invite anyone who is interested to come early and spend some extra time with me in the park. When I had my first posture analysis, it took about twenty minutes and changed my life (and my work) forever. I was also shown how to sit, stand and walk (and all the movements in between) in a way that allowed me to use the appropriate muscles efficiently, avoid injury, and ultimately to connect with my body in a way I simply hadn't before (although I'd been doing yoga already for years). I try to share as much guidance for posture in the standing position during our classes, but coming early will allow me to share in greater detail the philosophy, science and practical execution of what I have learned. I also welcome anyone to come who hasn't already come for the full yoga class and would like some time to talk to me. No money is required for this casual session, I'm offering this analysis in combination with the free yoga classes that I am offering as my own service during the summer, simply because I think there are people out there who can find it of use and I enjoy sharing the knowledge. Come join us on Tuesday in La Habra Heights at 6pm, and Wednesday in the Friendly Hills of Whittier, also at 6pm. I appreciate very much the open hearts and minds I have been meeting, who I can tell love having the opportunity to learn more about yoga. Namaste!
