A Special Yoga with Grace Workshop:

Yoga for Stress and Anxiety

Work issues, financial obstacles, family problems, and tragic events are only a few of the situations that can instigate stress. The practice of Yoga is well-demonstrated to reduce the physical effects of stress on the body. By encouraging relaxation, yoga helps to lower blood pressure, improve digestion and boost the immune system as well as ease symptoms of conditions such as anxiety, depression, fatigue, asthma and insomnia.

This class will explore pranayama (breathing techniques) that can help with mental clarity and relaxation as well as yoga postures to help release muscle tightness and tension.  Class will conclude with a few extra minutes of calming meditation and relaxation.  Beginners as well practicing yogis welcome.
