|A former member||
On a glorious May Saturday afternoon, over thirty Progressive Meditators, ZenHikers, and ZenAdventurers showed up the Denis Brown Wushen Center at Rockville, MD to take a introductory lesson from Sifu Bushen,.
We first learned various basic Tai Chi movements, then the walking basics. The moves put us into a state of Zen. Finally, Sifu Bushen gave us an mesmerizing demonstration of the Yang Style Tai Chi. Sifu Bushen's style was flawless and amazing to watch.
Next, we headed toward Lake Needwood for a beautiful hike around the lake. The weather was couldn't be better. We all enjoyed the relaxed paced and beautiful scenery.
Finally, we went to Yuan Fu restaurant for a well earned rest and a late afternoon lunch. We all shared a delicious and sumptuous meal together.
For those who couldn't make it this time, there is an another one coming this weekend at Brookside Garden, Wheaton, MD. Please take RSVP at ZenAdventures meetup.
Thank you for attending our first ZenAdventures and my second ZenHiking events.
I have uploaded the pictures to ZenAdventures meetup.
