YogaQuest Minneapolis Message Board › Happy Holidays from your friends at YogaQuest
December is flying by, and before you know it, 2013 will draw to a close. We still have some delightful events on the schedule to keep you moving, laughing, and enjoying this festive-but-frigid time of year.
Tonight, we're revisiting ancient Greece with our favorite Warrior Princess and her bestie, in a special YQ: After Dark episode.
Next Tuesday, we're heading back to Hogwarts for our tribute to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - a definite fan favorite. This will be the final Tuesday night class of the year, so don't miss it!
Next Friday night, on December 20, we will be presenting Cosmic Yoga - a multimedia yogic celebration of the winter solstice, science, Carl Sagan, autotuning, and (most importantly) turtlenecks. We've selected some of our favorite Symphony of Science videos, and yogiographed the heck out of them, to create a delightful, occasionally silly, frequently awe-inspiring yoga program.
Tying all these events together, we have our usual assortment of amazing yoga classes - Monday night meditations, Wednesday and Saturday "Elevensies", and Sunday evening candlelight. If you've never checked out our non-narrated classes, they're a fantastic way to integrate some "normal(ish)" yoga into your routine, while still experiencing it in the cozy, totes non-threatening YQ setting.
Please note - December 24 and 31 fall on Tuesday nights this year, so we will not be offering classes those nights. Enjoy those nights off, but rest assured - we will be back with a ridiculous vengeance in January. The January series is being written NOW and will be posted soon.
Whatever you're celebrating at this time of year, we wish you the happiest, brightest, and best of seasons. Namaste, friends!
