Shadey's Rugged Run

I am in the 9:00 wave (first wave) Other waves throughout the day

Shadey’s Rugged Run is a 3.5 mile mud/obstacle course designed to challenge participants as they go through water, fire, walls, mud pits, and more! Shadey's Rugged Run is being held on the campus of Lancaster Bible College at 901 Eden Road, Lancaster, PA, 17601-5036.

First wave at 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 27, 2013

Registration Fees
Register by: February 15, 2013 - $65
March 15, 2013 - $72
April 12, 2013 - $80

Unlike other mud events that charge anywhere from $20 to $40 per person just to come and watch, our spectators are totally free! We only ask for a $10 per car fee to park. So carpool and save a couple of bucks, but enjoy watching your friends and family without paying! Enjoy listening to the live band and purchasing food from our vendors while your crazy friends and family slip and slide through mud! We have several spectator friendly areas and shortcuts for you to get there. Maps will be available the day of the event to guide you.

Enjoy a live band before and after the run! You can also stop by and check out Penn State Hershey’s Life Lion who will be on hand for part of the day. Life Lion EMS is a Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) system which serves the local and regional community surrounding Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

There is parking on campus and the only fee we ask is $10 per car. We do not charge a spectator fee. Please have cash on hand as you enter the campus. Additional satellite parking will be available off the main road, Eden Road if needed. The fee is still $10 to park there. A complimentary shuttle will transport participants back and forth.

This was a very good run. Most of the obstacles were challenging, but doable. The water slide was fun. .

You r right that it is not a race but a challenge event. If u plan to walk it i only suggest u enter in an early start time so that u dont finish while they r packing to leave
Just kidding but u hear what i m saying. So yes u can walk the whole thing

looking at the website - says it is NOT a race but adventure. So does that mean you can race walk it rather than run? It sounds interesting, but I'm no runner.

Age restrictions for this? My 15 yr old daughter has done several mud runs with me when the age restriction allows her to.
