This is a group for anyone interested in learning to eat the healthy way, losing weight, maintaining weight and/or getting weight loss support while they are going through the transformation. I started this group to bring people together who are committed to not only lose the weight, but also to keeping it off for good. People like you who have the mental toughness to reach for the "gold" ( goal) that started their journey - the weight loss champions. You will notice, I offer weight loss meetup groups at different levels.
The most basic one is the support group, and as the name implies, this is a support group. Members have the opportunity to share with the group the challenges they are encountering and get the support the group provides, as well as possible solutions.
The second group is for individuals who don't mind taking on and committing to a 16 week weight loss challenge. You may ask, "why 16 weeks?" The reason being, in order to see real results, you need the time to go through the three phases or weight loss.
The third group is for individuals who either need help with learning how to eat healthy foods, need assistance with overcoming barriers, and many other issues that influence weight loss/gain. This group is also for people who know their eating habits and behaviors are not the healthiest - for some minor tweaks will do the trick, for others it will take a little more work. But then again, the sooner you develop healthy eating behaviors, through support and re-enforcement, the sooner you will reap the benefits - one bite at a time. This is a twenty (20) week comprehensive group coaching program-it covers everything what many other programs leave out. Formal registration, a commitment, and acceptance into the program is required.

I am contemplating of offering a fourth group "sport yoga," based on interest of the group, as well as other factors.
