So I wanted to start a group for people in my age group (say 25-35 as a ballpark, by no means exclusive though) that could get together and just chill out. I was thinking something along the lines of 'how I met your mother' kind of thing. I just moved here like 7 months ago and it's been hard to build up a coherent group of friends so this seemed an easier way to synthesize one. It'd be cool to have lots of different kinds of people join. I felt like a lot of other groups are too one-dimensional.

The goal here is to have an open environment where people can be themselves and make new friends.  I hope that people will try to give each other a level of respect and tolerance and be excellent to each other.  We're all Adults here after all.  Have fun people, it's your group!
