I'd really like to leave this earth better than I found it, and I think love is the only way.
I really like almost everyone, but there are some deal-killers for me.
1. Religion (I can handle a "theist" but I really can't abide dogma. Ever. Move along.)
2. "Sex First" people.
Yeah, we all want to have sex. I get it. But too many people are just wired to say or do anything to get laid. If you are one of those people who can't go two weeks without, move along.
If you have a problem with weed, guns, lesbians, capri pants, or overgroomed dogs please move along. Grownups realize their preferences are their own, and they deal with life understanding that. Children want to control others.
4. Aggressive beliefs
This applies not only to religion but to everything. If you feel one thing SO STRONGLY that you just can't talk to anyone about it without raising your voice, you're probably a lunatic and should move along.
If you like to read, to talk ideas, to drink beers and make yummy food, to sit and watch the waves, to bike in interesting places, to see new things, this group might be for you. But it might not be.
I am well on my way to forming a cohesive local community that takes care of each other and shares skills and knowledge. We don't have a church, so we need each other.
