Bootcamp for "Every Student Matters @ Bill Barber Memorial Park 6:30PM!

If you love to bootcamp and want to help a cause at the same time, join me in this bootcamp for charity class!

https://www.facebook.com/EveryStudentMatters

Update:

Every Student Matters is a non-profit youth led and youth organized campaign focused on promoting policies that keep students in school. Practices advocated by Every Student Matters have had great success nationwide in reducing suspensions, arrests, and increasing graduation rates.  Currently, the Every Student Matters Campaign is working to build awareness in the community to empower parents to work collaboratively with school administrators to keep kids in school until their graduation day.

Our plan to raise awareness in the community will begin by distributing educational pamphlets to parents and administrators. We would like to distribute 2,000 pamphlets in the[masked] school year at community meetings, and we would like to ask you to sponsor to us in this endeavor. Any amount would be helpful! I'll be collecting donations for the people interested in donating but of course, you are under no obligation!  Let's have fun!!!

Introduction

My name is Amy and I hope to uphold my friend's legacy in bootcamp. You see, he successfully ran a bootcamp in NY and in Sydney. He be
lieved that outdoor exercises should be free and available to all...I would like to follow his philosophy...so...

Welcome to the Free and Fun OC Fitness Bootcamp! I hope that you find this an enjoyable experience. To add to your comfort level, please feel free to ask any questions. We are friendly, inclusive and a melting pot! There is no bootcamp leader blowing a whistle or yelling--haha!

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions:

How Much Does Bootcamp Cost?

Bootcamp sessions are free-even more reason to make this a regular part of your fitness regime. Donations are welcome! ;-)

What Should I bring?

As we meet in the park, there are no storage facilities, you should come in workout clothes you are happy to get a little dirty. Some people bring bottles of water or bags but if you do I recommend keeping it light because you'll have to jog with it short distances between exercises.

How Fit Do I need to be?

While we cater for a range of fitness levels you should be at least average fitness. As a test, you should be able to complete one plank for at least 1 minute, be able to do 20 pushups and jog at least 1 mile.

What exercises do I do?

The sessions last for about an hour and include aerobic fitness routines with running, prints, star jumps, circuits, pilates, yoga-like stretches, boxing/kickboxing in the air and some dance moves!

How Do I Find You?

The address listed above

How Will this benefit me?

Improved core stamina, strength, being able to deal with life's highs and lows, improved sleep patterns and you will make great workout buddies!
