Update: 9/5 - We have been granted special access to part of the temple that is still under construction. However, the requirement is to wear a closed toe shoe since it is a construction site. Please abide by the dress code below and this requirement.
Date and time is confirmed and the tour guides will be made available for our group. Please confirm your RSVP and DO NOT cancel out within 4 days of the event since the temple is making volunteers available just for us. Attendance policy will be in effect.

9am meet at carpool location - irvine spectrum Nordstrom parking lot (ON TIME PLEASE)
10am - Meet at the temple entrance (ON TIME PLEASE. Specifically meet in front of the Haveli. It looks like below)
10am-11.30am - Tour
11.30am - 1pm - Lunch
1pm - Return back to car pool location

Many people are confused about what the Hindu religion and culture is all about so here is an opportunity for you to get a first hand look in one of the best Hindu temples in South Cali with a guided tour. The temple itself is quite beautiful if all you are interested in is the architecture.

Since this is a religious location, there are a few constraints that you must abide by. Note the excerpt below from the website:
The mandir is a house of God. It is very special; hence all visitors are required to abide by the following rules and regulations applicable to all areas including the Mandir, Haveli and the Exhibition.
No shorts or skirts shorter than knee length. No sleeveless tops. (Please ask security for a sarong)
Please remove any footwear before entering any of the buildings on the Mandir premises. (Shoe racks provided within the complex)
Photography & Videography:
Photography & videography is strictly prohibited inside any of the buildings.
Food & Drinks:
No food or drinks are allowed inside the Mandir premises. Please discard any chewing gum in the trash cans provided before entering.
Please switch off all mobile phones prior to entering the premises. Mobile phones with cameras must not be used to take photos or videos.
No smoking on the premises including the parking area. Please dispose of cigarettes in the trash cans provided, prior to entering the gates.
For your safety, various security measures are in place. Please leave all bags and cameras inside your vehicle. Please refrain from touching the delicate carvings within the Mandir and Haveli premises. To maintain the spiritual atmosphere, please observe silence inside the Mandir and Haveli.
