I want to create an environment where groups of young ladies (20s-30s) can share their love of reading in a safe and enjoyable setting. I am always looking for new people to share my interest in reading with and am looking forward to beginning a new group in which to do this! (This was from the original organizer, but the sentiment stands...so, there ya go.)

Books are selected entirely online in a discussion board format along with a poll. Members are welcome to suggest books and vote for their choices to read! There are no hard and fast rules for books - we'll read whatever gets the most votes!

I will be hosting one meeting per month, but members are encouraged to host their own discussions throughout the month. I will also hopefully be hosting an occasional weekday evening event in addition to the Sunday afternoon sit-down. Groups are going to be limited in number so everyone has a chance to talk about the books and it's easier to find a locale.

As our group develops, we may be able to add in other things - some suggestions from members so far have included: meetups for happy hours to chat about the book in a casual setting, meetups to discuss parts/pieces of longer selections, multiple book choices for one month to add variety and interest. This is all a little much for me to take on right now, but I welcome help in any format if something sparks your interest!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
