Are you a 24-35 y.o. successful suburbanite? Are you transient in the sense that it seems you've already lived a lot of places - you have a lot of friends all over the world, but not so many in your own neighborhood? Does it seem difficult to find people with similar interests in this area, and it's too hard to have a social life in the city, because you live up north for your job? Well, you are not alone.

This group is intended for young adults who have not yet built the traditional family because they've been busy tackling education, careers, and other interests. We are not originally from the area and may not have an established network of friends and family close by. This group appreciates ethnic, cultural, and religious diversity because we have a wide array of life experiences. We're looking for other LOCAL people who may have shared such experiences - or better yet people who are totally different and interesting and just want to find some cool people to hang out with in Northern Lake County. 

Most meetups will likely take place in the Gurnee-Grayslake-Libertyville-Vernon Hills-Mundelein area.  We will have at least 2 Meetups per month.  They will vary in type and location.  Recent examples are local martini bars, restaurants, and bowling.  Please join the group to see if there are Meetups that interest you.

There is no fee for being a member of the group.  However, to help maintain the group's site, there will be a $1 charge per person for each Meetup that is attended.  Just bring $1 and give it to Katie.
