Susan G. Komen- Lombard Race For The Cure!

We need the help of many wonderful volunteers to help make this event a great one! The race is on September 22nd, 2013 at Yorktown Center in Lombard, Illinois.

Volunteering for races can be a great group activity! You will be taking part in making a difference in ending breast cancer while having fun, giving back, and meeting numerous inspiring people with remarkable stories and strength.

Volunteer Positions Include:
•1 Mile Walk Marshalls
•Course Marshalls – Great for Groups!
•Decoration/signage Set-up
•Education photo station
•Education sign Rovers
•Finish line marshalls – Great for Groups!
•Food Tent – Great for Groups!

•Information Rovers – Great for Groups!
•Kids for the Cure Tent
•New Balance Tent Volunteer
•Post Race Water – Great for Groups!
•Pre-Registration/Packet Pick-Up
•Race Course Water – Great for Groups!
•Start Line Marshalls – Great for Groups!
•Team Tailgate
•T-Shirt Distribution – Great for Groups!
•Volunteer Check-In

Volunteering at races can always looks great on resumes as well and will give you some great hands on experience if you're interested in the non-profit community!
