Established in 1988, Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) of South Florida is a not-for profit organization dedicated to helping local children live happier, healthier and more productive lives by supporting healthcare and medical research programs, education and the arts, and civic and social programs.

The Ronald McDonald House® (RMH) is a temporary "home-away from home®" for families to find rest, support and time away from realities of the hospital procedures and routines in any Miami-Dade and Broward County pediatric medical facility.

The Young Professionals of RMH seeks to support the mission of Ronald McDonald House by making a direct impact in the lives of those that seek a home away from home at our local Ronald McDonald Houses. Just like the main charity our mission is to promote the health of children requiring medical care and their families. Our support for these includes physical, financial but most importantly emotional support to those in times of need.

A sick child or sibling can drain a family in so many ways. It is the focus of this group to help families through stressful and trying times by facilitating different activities on a monthly basis that enrich the lives of both children and adults at the House.

Further more we support the House financially by raising funds through different events and other endeavours. In this capacity we can secure the future of the House and increase the services and comforts the House can provide.

Currently we are a small handful of professionals with a passion to help others. Although our impact in the house has already been felt with our minimal size, we need dedicated members to increase the support we can provide to our Families. Specifically we are looking for board and committee members who would like the opportunity to make a direct impact in the lives of families in need.

We are growing and looking for input and ideas on new ways to help, grow and support. As such we are extremely open to new ideas and opinions. No good idea will be overlooked. We encourage open dialogue among members and volunteers.
