Dear all young professionals,
Hope all of you had a great Chinese New Year holiday first of all. After gatherings in Chinese new year, did any of you have any poon choi yet? Probably the most traditional one ?
"Poon choi" is a traditional Chinese meal eaten in the New Territories. See this link for some interesting facts:
If you want to sample this most traditional of Chinese meals, our next event will be held on Sunday March, 10th, and having Poon Choi at a restaurant in Tai Mei Tuk Village, Tai Po.
Before the meal, we will go on a moderately easy hike (around 2hrs) the Pak Sin Leng Nature Trail in the Pak Sin Leng Country Park(八仙嶺郊野公園) and walk to the poon choi restaurant.
For those interested in joining the hike, we will gather at the Starbucks inside the main ticket hall of Tai Po Market MTR station (大埔站) at 1:30pm sharp, where we will take the bus together to the start of the nature trail.
This is a moderately easy hiking route, which should not be too difficult for beginners. More information can be found on http://www.hkwalkers.net/eng/trail_list/nature_Trail/PatSinLeng_Nature_Trail/introduction.htm.
