20/30s Jockey Hollow Park Hiking Meetup with optional Famished Frog Lunch afterwards in Morristown, NJ.

Meetup with Richard Doran at 11:00 AM outside the Visitor Center of Jockey Hollow.

This will be a very light casual Hike thru Jockey Hollow. Easy fairly flat terrain. Great for Beginners!

You are welcome to bring your Dogs, if you want.

Then afterwards meetup at the Famished Frog Restaurant in Morristown for Lunch.

Directions for Jockey Hollow at:

Jockey Hollow
From Interstate 287 South or North:
-Take Exit 30B (Bernardsville)
-At the traffic light, turn right onto Route 202 North
-Turn left at light for Tempe Wick Road (Route 646).
(Note that road has a different name on the right side, don?t let this confuse you.)
-Continue on Tempe Wick Road for about another 1 ½ miles. The entrance to the Jockey Hollow unit of Morristown National Historical Park will be on your right.

    Quick question. Since this is a national park it might not be open with this whole government shutdown going on...

      That's what I'm afraid of. If they are still shutdown by Thursday I will send an email out about changing the hike to Patriots Path which can be accessed by Lewis Morris Park, which is a county Park that is adjoining with Jockey Hollow. So either way we will have somewhere to hike.
