New Jersey Sierra CLub Sandy Relief Efforts

  • January 7, 2013 · 7:00 PM

Hi Everyone,

As the Outreach Coordinator for the New Jersey Sierra Club I have been leading and coordinating our Sandy Relief efforts. We have been keeping people informed about donations and have been participating in the clean up efforts. There is still a lot that needs to be done! Clean up is far from over with endless opportunities to help those in need. If you are interested in getting involved in Sandy Relief Efforts throughout the state PLEASE email me [masked] and I will add you to my Sandy Relief Email list.

Events coming up include a clean up in Manasquan as well as other clean up opportunities, movie screening of Cape Spin with proceeds going to Sandy Relief, phone banking to check on members in need. These are just a few of the things we have in store.

Any and all help would be appreciated. Again if you are interested please email me [masked] - THANK YOU!

      Sandy Relief Efforts This Weekend!
      Manasquan Clean Up
Volunteers can meet at First Presbyterian Church of Manasquan, 16 Virginian Ave, Manasquan, this Saturday, December 1st at 10AM. NJ Sierra Club volunteers worked in Manasquan last Friday and saw all the work that still needs to be done, which is why they are heading down again this weekend. FYI majority of the work that needs to be done in Manasquan is demolition type projects such as taking apart sheetrock and hardwood floors. Please dress accordingly and if you have any safety equipment like masks please bring them!
If you are interested in volunteering RSVP by emailing [masked] who will get you in touch with our volunteer Captain for the site that day.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
