Inventor Jacque Fresco was already 13 years old when the Great Depression started way back in 1929. As a teenager he met physics genius Albert Einstein and legendary architect Buckminster Fuller to discuss social change.
At 96 years old, Jacque is still going strong after having created over 10,000 inventions and changed the lives of thousands that have seen him personally on tours. He has often been referred to as a living Leonardo da Vinci.
Here is a video link of Jacque being interviewed in 1974 by Larry King: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PN6puH9DYnQ
Over the past few years he became a world wide celebrity after being seen by millions of people as a featured guest in online documentary films and interviews.
Since the mid-1970s he has promoted his non-profit organization The Venus Project, named after its hometown of Venus, Florida to create a sustainable way of life called a Resource-Based Economy.
Explaining that our current system of using money and politics are obsolete ideas dangerously threatening the health of our planet. That if we declare the world's resources as common heritage of ALL humans we could easily provide every person alive with all the necessities of life while also socially and technically redesigning society to solve the root causes of most of the planet's problems.

On The Venus Project Tour you will walk around their property being shown dome houses, see rooms full of futuristic models, watch a film, and he along with his long time partner Roxanne Meadows will talk for hours.
We are very fortunate Fresco lives only a 2.5 hour drive south of Orlando. The tour runs between 1pm to 5pm (it may run a later depending on the Q & As).
Since they are not sponsored by anyone the normal the cost of the tour is $200 per person or household but a special arrangement has been made for a rare opportunity of only $50!
(part of the property you will be venturing around)
Their website is TheVenusProject.com

Update January 21st '13:
Great news! After talking with the The Venus Project again they've agreed to drop the price for a group discount rate for 20 people at the price of only $50 per person.
They will have some people going on the same day at the regular $200 admission price, yes we will get a substantial discount for the same thing as them, except for the book/DVDs package (you can buy them separate when there and still save a lot of money).
Jacque Fresco is about to turn 97 years old so we are lucky to have this chance while we can.
Please pay ASAP because we need be paid up by February 15th and the 20 RSVPs will be on a first come, first serve basis based on who pays and confirms.
Note: This is being posted on multiple websites, so RSVPs don't reflect the actual spots left.
I would prefer you pay directly to them through Paypal.com at [Almost sold out, email me to see if spots are left] and confirm to me after. But you can also pay to me by Money Order or cash.
The price is for the admission for tour and some lite snacks will be put out for us when there.
There will be no refunds unless the tour is canceled.
