WHAT: This is about a 10 miles intermediate hike, not for beginners. We will hike from the Bootjack parking lot up to West Point Inn and East Peak. Uphill from Bootjack to East Peak (1000' elevation gain).We should be back at our cars around 4:00.
This hike is for those who are in good physical hiking condition and are able to hike 1000 feet.
Directions to trailhead: From Hwy 37 to Hwy 101 south making RIGHT at "Tiburon Blvd - E.Blithedale" exit (Mill Valley),get into center lane, Third stop light and Left onto Camino Alto and get into right lane, Right onto Miller Avenue, Get into left lane and make a left onto Montford Avenue (2 AM Club on left), At the 1st stop sign make a Right onto Molino Avenue (steep grade) continue onto Edgewood Avenue, Forward up to the big sign "Mt Tam - Muirwoods", Right at 2nd big sign "Mt Tam - Stinson Beach" which turns into Panoramic Highway. Continue on Panoramic Highway (you will pass Mountain Home Inn on right) up to Bootjack Parking lot on your right.
