December YA Book Discussion - Unearthly

Unearthly by Cynthia Hand is our book for December. It tied in the Fall Poll and we chose it by tie-breaker vote in the September meeting as a fun December Paranormal Romance YA.

Clara Gardner is has found out she's part angel. And she's having visions. She meets the boy of her dreams (literally) but is torn between him and another boy who appeals to her less angelic side.

Arrive early to grab a snack or a drink and visit with the group. Our discussion will start promptly at 7:30 and we'll wrap it up at 9:00.

Looking forward to seeing you then.

Please remember to make suggestions for future books

I just read the final book in this trilogy - loved it. I really enjoyed these much more than I thought I would. Highly recommend all 3 and the novella (Radiant - about Clara & Angela in Italy)

I read Hallowed over the weekend - it answered a lot of our questions and many of our theories were right on. She also has a short novella out about Italy told from both Angela & Clara's POV - called Radient. I liked it a lot too. I'm glad the third book is coming in January.

Work has been very busy and I wasn't able to finish the book so I decided not to attend tonight but I look forward to next time as I really enjoyed our discussions.

Sorry to miss you Lesley. And Sarah, I understand, this was a longer one - but I liked it - I think I'll read the sequel too.
